Class Parents

Class Parents serve as the classroom liaison between the teachers and the parents. They are the de facto PTO representative for the class, and the main line of contact between their specific class and the PTO. Some benefits include getting to know your child’s teacher, his/her classmates and parents, as well as being the first to know about class and school events.

  • Updating parents on PTO related items

  • Giving the teacher the “favorite things list” to fill out and issuing it to all parents in the class when completed.

  • Helps teacher create/share/update their amazon wish list

  • Assist and/or recruit parent volunteers to help your classroom’s teacher with activities such as field trips, parties and other class projects.
